Dark and light, feed the cats / That's Denise and Max - Fredo follows up with a reference to Denise and fellow Eastenders character Max Branning.

As she is about to leave, stirred by revengeful thoughts, Jimmie the dandy, arrives and, seeing his opportunity, buys her a real diamond. Flossie immediately transfers her affections to Jimmie. In the meantime Sam is having a terrible time. His treatment is even more successful than desired. He awakens and discovers that his face is mottled and his hair stringy. Indignantly he throws the cosmetics out of the window. They just miss Colonel Morgan, a sideshow owner. The Colonel rushes into the house and, finding Sam in his peculiar condition, offers him a job as wild man in his sideshow. Next day Sam is behind the bars at the County Fair. Jimmie and Flossie happen to stroll that way. When Sam sees them he breaks the bars and vanquishes his rival. Flossie decides that the color of Sam's face makes no difference, it's the color of his money that talks.
- The complications of love and crookedness, and two men who are rivals for the hand of the same lady. After various attempts at getting the bride, groom, and minister together, and much scurrying, shooting, and other tricks, one of the expectant bridegrooms finds himself shut in a room in which there is a safe, and in the safe several bags of money. Opening the strong box he finds that his friend, the king of safe crackers, is already on the job, and together they try to make a getaway. When the police and the criminals arrive in the open there occurs an automobile chase, telegraph poles to the number of at least a dozen fall before the onslaught of motor power, and finally the situation straightens out and the thieves and the lovers and the money find their respective places.
